NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Public Hearing on Resolution No. 1474 <br />determining to appropriate $180,500 <br />from Fund 619 to fund certain <br />improvements to the Blackthorn Golf <br />Course. <br />Mrs. Kolata asked that the following <br />items be entered into the record: An <br />Affidavit from the Tri- County News and <br />South Bend Tribune that the Notice of <br />Public Hearing was published on <br />November 22, 1996. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that this resolution <br />appropriates funds from the Blackthorn <br />Golf Course operating budget to complete <br />the cart -path system. She explained that <br />$180,500 to be appropriated is higher <br />than the contracted amount totaling <br />approximately $145,000, for the cart-path <br />system. <br />Ms. Auburn operied the Public Hearing <br />for anyone who wished to speak. There <br />was no one who wished to speak <br />regarding Resolution No. 1474.
