representatives from the National Trust, Karen Kiemnec of Historic Landmarks <br />Foundation of Indiana, and Paul McMinn from the Parks Department and spend the <br />day touring the East Race. The group is looking for an assistance program to <br />provide professional technical information for Heritage Tourism programs. He <br />noted the East Race was among three finalists in Indiana for the program. <br />c. 507-509 South Michigan <br />Mr. Duvall reported the DHPA had confirmed the site as eligible for a tax <br />credit project should the city move ahead with acquisition. <br />V. Old Business <br />A. Stephenson Mill <br />Mr. Duvall reported the Stephenson Mill National Register NomiAation had been <br />returned due to a discrepancy in the physical description prior to <br />rehabilitation and as it stands now. He said the opinion was there should be <br />no problem with the nomination, it was just a matter of clari& cation of the <br />state of the building at the present time. <br />VI. Announcements <br />Commissioner Petrass reported on her concern for the house at 2912 York Road. <br />She said the property has a second foundation being built on the property and <br />it appears the house is to be moved so it faces Ridgedale. She said she had - <br />heard other houses were to be built on the property. Commissioner Petrass <br />inquired if this would be a zoning violation. Commissioner Fine said it would <br />be a subdivision if the lot had been divided. Commissioner Bullene pointed out <br />it may have already legally been two lots. <br />IX.
