e <br />(11) New Business. <br />(i) Hearing of Visitors. <br />(j) Announcements and Miscellaneous Matters. <br />(k) Adjournment. <br />ARTICLE 7 <br />COMMITTEES <br />Section 1. Standing Committees. The standing Committees of the <br />Commission shall be Budget and Finance, Standards, Historic <br />Landmarks, Historic Districts, Public Relations and Community <br />Education Committee, and Legal Committee which shall be named by <br />the Commission at the first meeting in the calendar year and said <br />Committees shall serve for the calendar year or until their <br />successors are appointed or the Commission by resolution shall <br />determine otherwise. <br />Section 2. Special Committees. Special Committees may be appointed <br />by resolution of the Commission, or by unanimous consent, to serve <br />at the pleasure of the Commission. The President may appoint special <br />Committees between Commission meetings to act upon urgent matters <br />and report at the next meeting of the Commission. Such Special <br />Committees appointed by the President may` continue if authorized <br />by resolution of-the Commission or.by unanimous consent. <br />ARTICLE 8 <br />, SEAL <br />f' <br />_ - __Section 1.- . -The official seal-of the Commission shall <br />be <br />Section 2. Custody. The Secretary shall-have custody of the seal <br />of the Commission. <br />ARTICLE 9 <br />AMENDMENTS <br />Section 1. These by -laws may be altered, amended, repealed, <br />supplemented or superseded by a vote of a majority of the Commissioners <br />voting at a regular or special meeting of the Commissioners attended <br />by all of them, provided that no such action shall be taken at -a <br />meeting of the Commission attended by less than all of the members, <br />unless the members are given at least ten (10) days notice of the <br />substance of the proposed action to be taken at the meeting.
