e (11) New Business. (i) Hearing of Visitors. (j) Announcements and Miscellaneous Matters. (k) Adjournment. ARTICLE 7 COMMITTEES Section 1. Standing Committees. The standing Committees of the Commission shall be Budget and Finance, Standards, Historic Landmarks, Historic Districts, Public Relations and Community Education Committee, and Legal Committee which shall be named by the Commission at the first meeting in the calendar year and said Committees shall serve for the calendar year or until their successors are appointed or the Commission by resolution shall determine otherwise. Section 2. Special Committees. Special Committees may be appointed by resolution of the Commission, or by unanimous consent, to serve at the pleasure of the Commission. The President may appoint special Committees between Commission meetings to act upon urgent matters and report at the next meeting of the Commission. Such Special Committees appointed by the President may` continue if authorized by resolution of-the Commission or.by unanimous consent. ARTICLE 8 , SEAL f' _ - __Section 1.- . -The official seal-of the Commission shall be Section 2. Custody. The Secretary shall-have custody of the seal of the Commission. ARTICLE 9 AMENDMENTS Section 1. These by -laws may be altered, amended, repealed, supplemented or superseded by a vote of a majority of the Commissioners voting at a regular or special meeting of the Commissioners attended by all of them, provided that no such action shall be taken at -a meeting of the Commission attended by less than all of the members, unless the members are given at least ten (10) days notice of the substance of the proposed action to be taken at the meeting. The proposed amendment shall be introduced at one meeting and shall be acted upon at the next regular meeting or a special meeting called within at least ten (10) days notice. - 3 - i� t 3 i r P i. t F I t .,
