Zion Church; 2nd reading <br />Mr. Eddington requested tha Commission table the 2nd reading for 30 days. <br />Commissioner Oxian moved to table until August meeting. Commissioner Hostetler <br />seconded the motion. Motion approved without dissent. <br />�. Historic Districts <br />a. note was made of two meetings <br />e. Central High School Committee <br />Commissioner Sporleder reported on the windows for C.H.S. and the Vo =Tech Bldg. <br />It was noted that a C of A for demolition of the power plant and chimney will <br />be heard next month. There was brief discussion of tha landscape plan. <br />6. Standards and Maintenance - no report <br />7. Personnel <br />Mr. Frederick thanked the members of the HPC. They,.in turn, thanked him. Mr. <br />Duvall thanked Mr. Frederick and then spoke briefly about the process for hiring <br />a new administrative assistant. <br />8. Staff Reports - The staff reported on a litany of subjects including: 801 N. Eddy, <br />First A.M.E. Zion Church; the LWW- Potential LHD; the CLG conference in Nappanee,:IN; <br />Walker Field Shelter; 133 S. Main, the Farmers Security Bank Building; 115 S. Lafayette, <br />the Lafayette Building; 1012 Riverside Drive tree issue; Hoosier School,62012 Oak Road; <br />Housing Consortium; 14603 Brick Road, the Thelma Lawrence house <br />V. Old Business <br />VI. New Business <br />VII. Hearing of Visitors <br />Mr. Eric E. Eckert addressed the Commission regarding the Thelma Lawrence house at <br />14603 Brick Road. It is Mr. Eckert's contention that this is the last Sears house <br />purchased or built in the United States. <br />Mr. Talley closed the meeting with information regarding a streetlight in Harter Heights. <br />VIII.
