Grainger <br />N.I.P.S.C.O <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded by <br />Mr. Faccenda and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Claims submitted <br />November 1, 1996 and ordered the checks to <br />be released. <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were no Communications. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />AaRk a. Commission approval requested for <br />assignment of contract for operations <br />related to Blackthorn Golf Course. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that the staff received a <br />letter on October 4, 1996, stating that all <br />of North American Golf's stock is being <br />acquired by Meadow Brook Golf Group, <br />Inc., which is a public company, <br />headquartered in California. North <br />American Golf manages the Blackthorn <br />Golf Course and they want to assign their <br />contract to Meadow Brook Golf Group, <br />Inc. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that Michael Rippey <br />was the president of North American <br />Golf, and he is going to be the president <br />of the eastern division of Meadow Brook <br />Golf Group, Inc. He will also be on the <br />board of directors of Meadow Brook <br />Golf, Inc.
