NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />a. continued.... <br />investigation. <br />She noted that the estimated cost, based <br />on EIS Environmental Engineers's fees, <br />including the sampling test, totals <br />approximately $16,183, excluding the <br />hydraulic lift investigation. The <br />Engineering Department recommends <br />that the staff defer any study on the <br />hydraulic lifts until they are taken out. <br />At that point the soil around the lifts can <br />be tested. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, <br />seconded by Mr. Hunt and unanimously <br />carried, the Commission approved the <br />proposal for professional services related <br />to environmental investigation of the <br />Dreisbach property. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Public Hearing on Resolution <br />No. 1467, a supplemental <br />appropriation resolution of the City of <br />South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission. (West Washington - <br />Chapin Development Area) <br />Mrs. Kolata asked that the following <br />documents be entered into the <br />record; the Proofs of Publication <br />that the Notice of Public Hearing <br />was published in the Tri- County <br />News and South Bend Tribune on <br />October 4, 1996. <br />-4- <br />CON MISSION APPROVED THE PROPOSAL FOR <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES RELATED TO <br />ENVIRONMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF THE <br />DREISBACH PROPERTY <br />
