7. Personnel. <br />Mr. Holycross announced that. Dr. Sushmita Hodges had <br />submitted her resignation as of March 25, 1993. He stated <br />that the research portion of the grant project was <br />• essentially complete; he would not be replacing Dr. Hodges. <br />8. Staff Reports <br />Mr. Holycross announced that there were two upcoming <br />conferences that HPC members should consider attending in <br />order to comply with the Certified Local Government <br />requirement that all members attend at least one approved <br />workshop or conference each year. The first was the Historic <br />Landmarks Foundation Quarterly meeting on March 10, 1993 in <br />Crown Point. The other is the National Trust Midwest meeting <br />on April 17 and 18, 1993 in Kalamazoo; more information will <br />be provided later. <br />V. Old Business <br />VI. New Business <br />Mr. Oxian announced that he was setting up a committee to <br />organize landscape workshops in the historic districts and other <br />interested neighborhoods. He asked for approval from the HPC to contact <br />district liaisons and other parties to participate. <br />There were no objections. <br />VII. Hearing of Visitors <br />Ms. Marsha Stephenson asked for clarification of. the Madison <br />School matter. <br />Mr. Oxian explained the proposal to the Common Council for <br />designation and the procedures and regulations attached to such <br />status. <br />VIII.
