Replace approx. 7 ft. tall wire mesh fence surrounding rear of <br />yard with custom made wood stockade fence. <br />2. Install aluminum gutters and downspouts. <br />3. Replace large wood multi -pane casement pair at rear one story <br />extension with elliptical window (with wood surrounds and muntin <br />bars); infill remaining space with wood clapboard to match rest <br />of clapboard on house. <br />STANDARDS <br />I. Environment <br />A) Building Site and LandscaninR <br />1) Required <br />Plants, trees, fencing ... which reflect the <br />property's history and development shall be <br />retained. <br />3) Prohibited <br />No changes may be made to the appearance of the site <br />by removing old plants, trees, fencing ... before <br />( evaluating their importance to the property's <br />history and development. <br />II. Existing Structures <br />B) Roofs and Roofing <br />2) Recommended <br />Gutters and downspouts are often a necessary adjunct <br />in order to prevent deterioration of the structure; <br />when necessary gutters and downspouts shall be <br />maintained or replaced with a style comparable and <br />suitable to the architectural period. <br />C) Windows and Doors <br />1) Required <br />Original windows and doors, 'including sash, lintels, <br />sills, shutters, decorative glass, pediments, hoods, <br />and hardware shall be retained or when deteriorated <br />beyond repair, replaced with units and trim <br />resembling the original. <br />2) Recommended <br />If new sash and doors are used, the existing or <br />original materials, design, and hardware should be <br />used. <br />3) Prohibited <br />Original windows, doors, and hardware shall not be <br />discarded when they can be restored and.reused in <br />
