4. Historic Districts <br />Mr. Holycross stated that the River Bend Local Historic <br />District was approved by the Common Council on November 9, <br />1992. He distributed a map and inventory of the finalized <br />district. <br />Mrs. Hostetler and Mr. Mike Keen spoke on behalf of the <br />district and discussed possibilities for future meeting dates <br />and times to meet with staff and the Historic Districts <br />Committee in order to set up their district standards. <br />5. Historic Landmarks <br />Mr. Holycross announced that the proposal to designate <br />Centre Township Cemetery as a Local Historic Landmark was <br />scheduled to be heard by the County Council on December 8, <br />1992, with a zoning committee meeting on November 19, 1992. <br />Mrs. Sporleder suggested that Mr. Holycross call the Centre <br />Township Trustee, who was supportive of cemetery designation <br />in the past, and ask for a letter of support. <br />6. Standards and Maintenance <br />a. Riverside Drive LHD <br />Mr. Oxian announced that a proposal to change <br />Riverside Drive LHD guidelines had been submitted to the HPC. <br />Mr. Oxian assigned the matter to the Historic District <br />Committee for review. <br />Mr. Oxian then presented a memo from Eugenia Schwarz, former <br />HPC legal counsel, concerning Liaison Committee member <br />eligibility. <br />Mr. Holycross added that he had spoken to the Riverside Drive <br />Liaison Committee who had recently completed the election of <br />new committee members. He asked that several HPC members be <br />in attendance at 4:00 pm the following day at the HPC offices <br />in order that the ballots could be opened in the presence of <br />the HPC as District guidelines mandated. <br />Ms. Van Dalsen and Mrs. Dennen stated that they could be in <br />attendance. <br />b. 1716 E. Wayne -- East Wayne LHD <br />Mr. Holycross stated that this case was closed; the <br />gate had been taken down by the new owners. <br />7. Personnel <br />No discussion. <br />8.
