NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />h. continued.... <br />the use of that property has not changed, <br />that is, to get development, to get office <br />development, to get some multi -use, <br />kinds of corporations and organizations <br />configured on that block. <br />Mrs. Auburn stated that the fact that <br />Memorial is now interested in joining <br />with some of the other people in the <br />discussion stage, is certainly a positive <br />move. She also stated that Memorial has <br />been a key community developer and a <br />key community player. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hojnacki, <br />seconded by Mr. Donoho and <br />unanimously carried, the Commission <br />moved that the staff be directed to meet <br />with representatives of Memorial and <br />Trammell Crow, to discuss specific <br />details about development on the <br />downtown site that includes both <br />Trammell Crow and Memorial. Any <br />specific proposals that the parties may <br />reach should be memorialized, and <br />submitted to the Commission for its <br />consideration by October 18, 1996 with a <br />progress report. <br />I. Commission approval requested for <br />Certificate of Waiver in connection <br />with the Rental Rehab Loan Program <br />for property located at 829 E. Miner <br />Street. (Paul W. and Mary Jo Quinn) <br />-29- <br />COMMISSION MOVED THAT THE STAFF MEET <br />WITH THE REPRESENTATIVES OF MEMORIAL <br />AND TRAMMELL CROW, TO DISCUSS SPECIFIC <br />DETAILS ABOUT DEVELOPMENT ON THE <br />DOWNTOWN SITE THAT INCLUDES BOTH <br />TRAM1v1ELL CROW AND MEMORIAL. ANY <br />SPECIFIC PROPOSALS THAT THE PARTIES MAY <br />REACH SHOULD BE MEMORIALIZED, AND <br />SUBMITTED TO THE COMMISSION FOR ITS <br />CONSIDERATION AND RETURN BY OCTOBER 18, <br />1996 WITH A PROGRESS REPORT <br />
