South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - September 20, 1996 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />h. continued.... <br />sign on the property stating that the <br />development was coming for a long time. <br />She stated that it sounds like the <br />development is coming. <br />Mr. Hojnacki stated that he was pleased <br />that things were moving along. <br />Mr. Donoho asked was there any action <br />needed to be taken on the letter. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated the staff is pleased that <br />Memorial wants to be a part of the <br />project and Trammell Crow wants to <br />work with Memorial to allow that to <br />happen. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that she thinks what <br />needs to take place, is that the <br />Commission refer this to staff to try and <br />sit down with all the parties to discuss <br />how development of a project that <br />includes both Memorial and Trammell <br />Crow might take place, to discuss the <br />various issues, and come back to the <br />Commission with specifics about how <br />such development may take place with <br />some documents. She stated we need a <br />specific proposal as to how things would <br />change. <br />Mrs. Auburn stated that as usual when <br />you start out on a project like this, you <br />start one plan and over time things <br />change. She stated that people come in <br />and look at space and different <br />configurations but the original intent of <br />IL -28- <br />
