NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />E continued.... <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that the lot was being <br />sold and that there was no political <br />influence in this decision. <br />- g. Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for professional services <br />related to environmental investigation <br />of the Dreisbach property. <br />Mrs. Kolata asked permission to table ITEM 6.G. WAS TABLED <br />item 6.g. There were no objections and <br />item 6.g. was tabled. <br />h. Staff report on Disposition of Property <br />in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that the staff received <br />a letter from Sam Gillespie and read it as <br />follows: <br />"Trammell Crow Company is pleased to <br />announce that we would like to move <br />forward on our downtown office project <br />after three years of intensive effort. We <br />are excited about the opportunity to work <br />with Memorial Health System Inc. and <br />the City of South Bend to create a <br />vibrant commercial project in the heart <br />of downtown South Bend. <br />We propose to build a minimum three - <br />story, 45, 000 sf building up to a <br />maximum of a 60,000 sf., four -story <br />building, anchored by Standard Federal <br />Savings Bank.
