With a ten year abatement, the <br />amount abated will be approximately <br />$18,031. The taxes generated with the <br />abatement will be approximately $3,886. <br />b. Commission consideration of request <br />to occupy space in the Palais Royale <br />building on a temporary basis. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that this request is <br />from the Notre Dame University <br />graduate students in Art. Mrs. Manier <br />drafted an agreement which the students <br />are reviewing. <br />Mrs. Kolata asked permission to table ITEM S.B. WAS TABLED <br />item 5.b. to give the students time to <br />review the agreement. There were no <br />objections and item 5.b. was tabled. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Receipt of bids on Parcel M19 -1, <br />M19 -5, M19 -6 located at 602 S. <br />Michigan Street in the South Bend <br />Central Development Area. <br />(Dreisbach Building) <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that the staff has <br />received two bids. Mrs. Kolata opened <br />the first bid and read portions of it. The <br />first proposal is from SSP Properties, an <br />Indiana Partnership out of Anderson, <br />Indiana. The proposal is for parcels A, <br />B and C and is in the amount of <br />IL -6- <br />
