South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - September 6, 1996 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />k. continued.... <br />certain eligible costs. One of the costs is <br />for moving a high pressure and medium <br />pressure gas main. Mrs. Kolata stated <br />that the contract with Ivy Tech allows the <br />staff to use the escrow fund to pay for the <br />move of the gas mains. That will cost <br />$180,214 to be paid to NIPSCO. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hojnacki, <br />seconded by Mr. Hunt and unanimously <br />carried, the Commission approved the <br />agreement with NIPSCO, subject to <br />closing on the land with Ivy Tech, related <br />to the Ivy Tech site in the Sample -Ewing <br />Development Area. <br />1. Commission approval requested for <br />proposal from Omnicraft related to the <br />Blackthorn Corporate Park. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that the staff has been <br />working on some marketing proposals for <br />the Blackthorn Corporate Park that <br />Coldwell Banker suggested be done. This <br />is to construct a display case in the <br />Blackthorn Club House that will hang on <br />the wall in the dining area. <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE AGREEMENT WITH <br />NIPSCO SUBJECT TO CLOSING RELATED TO THE <br />IVY TECH SITE IN THE SAMPLE -EWING <br />DEVELOPMENT AREA <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hojnacki, COMMISSION APPROVED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br />seconded by Mr. Donoho and OMNICRAFT RELATED TO THE BLACKTHORN <br />unanimously carried, the Commission CORPORATE PARK <br />approved the proposal from Omnicraft <br />related to the Blackthorn Corporate Park. <br />m.
