NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />a. continued.... <br />Mr. Donoho asked a question regarding <br />GSA's time table for the proposed <br />project. <br />Mr. Doolittle stated that he is <br />representing SSP Properties. He said <br />that the GSA plans to complete the <br />selection process by the end of 1996. If <br />GSA should need additional time, Mr. <br />Doolittle asked that the Commission <br />consider SSP Properties putting up a <br />non - refundable risk of $5,000 for an <br />additional sixty days. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that she talked with <br />one of GSA's representatives two weeks <br />ago and at that time they were still <br />preparing information and had not yet <br />sent out a Request for Proposals. <br />They've sent their representatives into <br />the community to look at the market to <br />see what is available to them. GSA is <br />waiting for a report from the Social <br />Security Administration at which point <br />they would be able to put out their <br />Request for Proposals. <br />Mr. Doolittle stated that he met with <br />GSA's representatives at the site and the <br />informal report is that the location at <br />602 S. Michigan Street is the preferred <br />site. <br />Mrs. Auburn noted that the bids will be <br />referred to the staff for a report to be <br />submitted at a later date. <br />-10- <br />
