6. Public Relations and Community Education <br />No Report. <br />7. - Personnel <br />The Commission has hired a new secretary <br />as of 4/15/91, in the person of Mrs. <br />Tina Comer. <br />8., Staff Report <br />Mr. Pastor read the Bi- Monthly Report, <br />which stated within the last two (2) <br />months there has been a preparation <br />of statements of significance for the <br />Witter Cemetary, the potential landmark <br />house at 609 Portage and the W.P.A. house. <br />H.P.C. has acquired thru the efforts of <br />Mr. Holycross, the 1932 Acessor's Card <br />Collection in it's entirety. It will <br />be very useful for research purposes. <br />H.P.C. has chosen and purchased <br />approximately $250.00 worth of <br />camara equipment. In regards <br />surveying on the West Side, Mr. Pastor <br />reported Quadrant 54 has been completed <br />and-Susie Booker is currently working on <br />Quadrant 65. <br />Assessment was made on the historic <br />resources in the Bowman Creek area. <br />Information will be forth - coming. <br />a. Growth Management Conference - May 1st <br />Mrs. Dixon elaborated on the brochure <br />changes in the areas of registration <br />and an additional sponsor. Brochures <br />will be mailed this week. <br />b. Midwest Regional Conference <br />Mr. Pastor and Mrs. Dixon both attended <br />the Quarterly Regional Meeting of Historic <br />Landmarks Foundation. Topics of discussion <br />were Rural Preservation and Tax Credits. <br />Mr. Pastor also attended the National Trust <br />Midwest Regional Conference in Toledo, Ohio. <br />Information will be forth - coming. <br />
