Anticipations were made as to <br />whether the Commission would be <br />responsible for employees' taxes, <br />social security, insurance, etc., <br />but Mrs. Dixon did not anticipate <br />workman's comp., liability, etc., <br />which are not affordable at this <br />time. It was therefore strongly <br />recommended to Mrs. Dixon that the <br />payroll remain as is. <br />Mrs. Sporleder inquired about the <br />source of monies reed for Grants. <br />The Grants are received from the <br />Federal Government Dept. of <br />Interior National Park Service. <br />Mrs. Sporleder the`Commission <br />of being in violation of "serious" <br />federal regulations concerning <br />payroll contracts. <br />Mrs - Choitz inquired about a liaison <br />(The State Historical Preservation Office) <br />that can contacted concerning guidelines. <br />Mr. Oxian suggested that an inquiry <br />be made to the County Commissioner's <br />Office about H.P.C. employees being <br />put on the County Payroll. Mrs. <br />Dixon will follow up. <br />b. State Board Review Meeting - 4/17/91 <br />Mrs. Dixon will be attending. <br />The state will be determining the <br />H.P.C. Grant Allocation. <br />Mrs. Sporleder moved for approval; <br />Mr. Newburn seconded; motion approved. <br />3. Legal <br />No Report. <br />4. Historical District <br />No Report. <br />5. Historic Landmarks <br />Mr. Oxian reported there are three (3) <br />first readings enclosed in the <br />Commission's packets: <br />609 Portage <br />Cleveland /Lynwood (Cemetary) <br />58666 Ireland Trail <br />The second reading will be the Public <br />Hearing. <br />
