V. Old Business
a) Letter to Roger Hulsey, re. Central High School
Mrs. Choitz requested a copy of the letter to be sent to
Mr. Hulsey as per the November 20 meeting of the
Commission.
VI. New Business
a) Nominating Committee
Mrs. Sporleder requested volunteers to serve on the 1990
nominating committee. Mr. Eide volunteered to serve. Mr.
Herendeen will be asked to chair the committee, with Mr. Nimtz
serving as the third member.
b) 1990 Meeting Schedule
The proposed 1990 Meeting Schedule (Appendix B) was approved.
c) Mayoral Appointment
Mrs. Dixon announced that the Mayor had appointed Mr. William
Walsheimer to serve on the Historic Preservation Commission.
Some members questioned the accuracy of the appointment as Mr.
Walsheimer is a well-known Republican and the appointee, by
ordinance, must be a Democrat for this particular opening. Mr.
Oxian offered to check with the Mayor's office regarding this
possible discrepancy.
VII. Hearing of Visitors
VIII. Announcements & Miscellaneous Matters
IX. ADJOURMENT
Mrs. Sporleder moved to adjourn; meeting adjourned at 9:05 p.m.
December 18, 1989 PAGE 4
