Budget & Finance <br />a) 1990 Budget <br />Mr. Oxian reported that he will be requesting of the <br />County Auditor's office that any funding remaining in the <br />1989 Commission budget be placed into the 1990 budget. <br />He also informed the Commission that he will be <br />requesting that the Director's salary allotment not used <br />in 1989 be transferred to the Commission budget for 1990. <br />b) New Desk <br />Mrs. Dixon reported that the desk used by the secretary- <br />of <br />ecretaryof the Commission staff is owned by MACOG. MACOG will be <br />hiring a new staff member and will need to reclaim the <br />desk. Therefore, Mrs. Dixon has submitted a requisition, <br />with the permission of the budget committee, to purchase <br />a new desk with a secretarial return. <br />3. Legal <br />a) 1352 Lincolnway - LWE <br />Mr. Oxian reported that the owners of 1352 Lincolnway <br />East have complied with the requirements of the <br />Commission and, therefore, he has notified Mr. Chapleau <br />that the legal action against the owner may be dismissed. <br />4. Historic Districts <br />a) Committee Meeting <br />Mrs. Choitz suggested that the Historic Districts <br />Committee meet shortly after the first meeting of the <br />year to plan programs and activities of this committee. <br />Mrs. Sporleder suggested that the committee may wish to <br />hold meetings with members of the local districts to <br />discuss how they feel about the district and ways in <br />which the Commission might better serve the district. <br />S. Historic Landmarks <br />a) 415 Parry Street <br />Mr. Oxian gave second reading on 41S Parry Street for <br />local landmark status. Landmark status was approved. <br />b) 630 W. Washington <br />Mr. Oxian gave second reading on 630 W. Washington for <br />local landmark status. Landmark status was approved. <br />December 18, 1989 PAGE 2 <br />
