IV. Regular Business <br />A. Approval of Minutes --July 16,,1990 • <br />Mr. Oxian asked that Part IV, D, 7, b be amended to state that <br />Mr. Oxian was to speak with the Research Assistant and determine <br />whether or not the letter submitted to the Executive Committee <br />was, in fact, her letter of resignation. <br />Mr. Nimtz moved to approve the minutes as amended. Mr. Herendeen <br />seconded. Motion approved. <br />B. Treasurers Report <br />Mrs. Dixon stated that she would have a full budget report <br />and grant projections later. Mr. Herendeen moved to approve. <br />Mss:i(Choitz seconded. Motion approved. <br />Mr. Nimtz asked why the HPC returned grant monies in the last <br />year. Mrs. Dixon stated that the office was under -staffed <br />thus leaving some of the monies allotted for personnel unexpended. <br />C. Correspondence <br />See Page 8 <br />D. Committee Reports <br />1. Certificates of Appropriateness (Reports) <br />.h. 405 W. Wayne <br />Mrs. Dixon reported that the owners planned to install <br />an air conditioning compressor along the side of • <br />the house, toward the rear, not to be visible from <br />the street. She spoke to Mr. Oxian about the project <br />before approving it. <br />b. 729 Cottage Grove <br />The owner proposed to replace an aluminum garage <br />door with a wooden tri -paneled door, for which staff <br />approval was given. <br />C. 509 Edgewater Dr. <br />The owner proposed to replace roofing on the body <br />of the house in-kind with 3 -in -1 shingles to match <br />roofing on the porch. Proposals for new guttering <br />and fencing were .tabled by the staff until further <br />information was provided by the owner. <br />d. 1425 E. Wayne <br />The owner proposed to remove roofing and replace <br />in-kind. Mr. Oxian approved the C. of A. while Mrs. <br />Dixon was out of the office. <br />e. 344 S. Sunnyside <br />Mrs. Dixon reported that the owners proposed construction <br />of a new fence behind shrubbery (at setback of house). <br />This was also staff approved. • <br />
