St. Louis Midwest Preservation Conference <br />Certified Local Government Program (continued) <br />Page 2 <br />A vice-president of the National Trust asked the group for suggestions on the <br />kinds of services we would like to see the Trust provide. We indicated that small <br />regional workshops such as the one in St. Louis would be very conducive to discussions <br />and an exchange of information. <br />National Alliance of Preservation Commissions <br />The NAPC also asked how they can best serve commissions across the country. They <br />are working on a videotape which would serve as a training session for commissions. <br />Other suggestions included: <br />- a videotape of an actual commission meeting <br />- a listing in the newsletter of statewide alliances of commissions so that <br />newsletters could be exchanged <br />- information on statewide or regional workshops put on by other groups <br />Conflict Resolution Worksho <br />A conflict management and negotiation workshop was put on by Gail Bingham, Senior <br />Associate for Environmental Dispute Resolution of The Conservation Foundation.
