Straw reported that she and Ms. Ki emnec did a site <br />inspection on February 5, 1986 regarding possible Landmark <br />Designation of this property. Staff recommendation is that <br />the property dues not qualify for Landma.rk. Designation. <br />However, the fence surrounding the property may be el i gi bl e <br />• for Landmark Designation (See Appendix A) . <br />2? Library Cataloguer <br />Patricia Denner began +crNon February 12, ix86. She was <br />hired to catalogue the Historic Pr•eservation Commission's <br />library. <br />h. Committee Assignments <br />Ms. Straw reported only three commission members submitted their <br />requests for Committee Assignments. Mr. Beatty made a. motion <br />that the heads of all committees remain the same; Mr. Ox i an <br />seconded, motion null and void - lack of a. quorum. <br />7. Old Business <br />a. Historic Lighting <br />Ms. Straw reported that a. letter had been received from John <br />Leszczynsk. i on February 12, 1986 stating the Indiana and Michigan <br />Electric Company has been instructed to replace the light across <br />from 221 and 229 Northshore :'Lee Appendix 6). <br />b. Architectural Drawings <br />• hal_•. Straw reported that Ms. Eugenia 'Schwartz stated that the Ci ty <br />Attorney's Office was of the opinion that architectural draw i ngs <br />in the Commission's possession are public records and should be <br />made available to anyone who requests to see them. Mr. Beatty <br />made a motion that the drawings be donated to the Northern Indiana. <br />
