E <br />Ms. Kiemnec read the Memo from Mrs. Schwartz regarding her <br />interpretation of the Riverside District Standards (see <br />Appendix A). <br />c. Riverside Standards Books <br />The Commission discussed the cost of the Riverside <br />Standards books. Mrs. Schwartz advised the Commission <br />that the charge must reflect the cost of producing the <br />publication and no more. Mr. Nimtz made a motion to <br />,Fwfigure the cost of printing the Standards book and round <br />it off to the nearest quarter to determine the price; Mr. <br />Oxian seconded; motion passed; Mr. Hayes voted nay. <br />2) Edgewater Place <br />a. Review of Standards <br />The Commission asked Ms. Kiemnec and the members of the <br />Commission from Edgewater Place to review the standards <br />and make a recommendation to the Historic District <br />0 Committee. <br />c. Historic Landmarks <br />1) Darden Bridge <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that a grant to partially fund an <br />engineering study for the Darden Bridge was applied for. It <br />was the Preservation Services Fund of the National Trust for <br />Historic Preservation and a response should be received within <br />the week. <br />2) 504-508 East LaSalle - Second Reading <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that the owner of J.C. Lauber was <br />contacted to see if he would agree to including the corner <br />building (502 E. LaSalle) in the landmark designation. He <br />consented. Mr. Oxian made a motion that the Commission <br />recommend 502, 504-508 East LaSalle to the Common Council for <br />landmark status; Mrs. Choitz seconded; motion passed. <br />3) 16479 Brick Road - Report and First Reading <br />Ms. Straw gave a report on 16479 Brick Road indicating that <br />the owners would like to have the legal description changed to <br />include only the property immediately surrounding the landmark <br />
