Notre Dame for repair of the slate <br />roof, eaves, and molded cornice. She required that the <br />existing modillions be left in place. Mr. Oxian made a motion <br />to require the owner to replace missing modillions on the <br />north and south facades of the main block of the building and <br />gave a time limit of one year; Mrs. DeLaruelle seconded; <br />motion passed; Mr. Beatty voted nay. <br />3) 811 Golden Avenue <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that she had approved a Certificate of <br />Appropriateness for 811 Golden to restore the porch with new <br />decking, column bases, and lattice work at the foundation. <br />4) 815 Arch <br />Ms. Kiemnec read a letter from Katherine Barnard, Director of <br />• Code Enforcement regarding the riverbank project at 815 Arch <br />(see Appendix B). <br />5) 537 Edgewater <br />Ms. Kiemnec indicated that the owners of 537 Edgewater had <br />applied for a Certificate of Appropriateness for a wrought <br />Iron railing for the rear porch of their home. The porch <br />cannot be seen from the street and she recommended that the <br />Commission approve the railing which will be painted white to <br />match the house. Mr. Beatty made a motion to appprove the <br />railing; Mrs. DeLaruelle seconded; motion passed. <br />6) Fredrickson House <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that the owners of the Fredrickson House <br />had been called before the Code Enforcement Hearing on <br />November 18, 1985. The owners were required to correct all <br />code violations by December 31, 1985. <br />g.
