Old Business <br />a. Annual Report <br />Ms. Kiemnec distributed the Annual Report. <br />b. Committee Appointments <br />Ms. Kiemnec distributed the Committee Appointments for 1985 (see <br />Appendix E). <br />c. 1985 Goals <br />Ms. Kiemnec distributed Committee Goals and a Staff Goals and <br />Timeline Sheet (see Appendices F & G). <br />d. 1985 List of Commissioners <br />• Ms. Kiemnec also distributed an updated list of Commission <br />members. <br />8. New Business <br />a. New Category for Landmarks <br />Mr. Oxian reported that he would like to introduce a new category <br />of landmarks which would apply to all early twentieth century <br />residential structures. The category would carry less stringent <br />standards than are currently used. <br />9. Hearing of Visitors <br />a. Fredrickson House <br />Mrs. Ann Puzzello expressed her concern for the condition of the <br />Fredrickson House and Candy Store. The Commission discussed some <br />of the alternative solutions and Mr. Newburn made a motion to <br />petition the Building Commissioner as per the HPC ordinance to use <br />the legal means available to him to require the owners to maintain <br />the property; Mr. Beatty seconded; motion passed. The letter is <br />to list the maintenance problems and a copy is to be sent to the <br />Mayor's Office and the Common Council. <br />4 <br />
