• <br />except for a cover letter. <br />2) Lincolnway East Historic District <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that the ballots for the Liaison <br />Committee in Lincolnway East are all in and tnat a meeting <br />needs to be set up to count them. <br />c. Historic Landmarks <br />1) Darden Bridge <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that Mr. Lichtenstein from the <br />Engineering firm of A.G. Lichtenstein & Associates, Inc. will <br />be in South Bend on Friday, August 23, 1985 to look at the <br />Darden Bridge. <br />2) 742 Sancome - First Reading <br />First reading was held for landmark status for the house at <br />742 Sancome. <br />3) 504-508 E. LaSalle - Report <br />• Ms. Straw gave a report on 504-508 E. LaSalle (see Appendix <br />A). She indicated that she had received the consent form from <br />the owner, Mr. Howard Schmidt. The Commissioners asked the <br />staff to inquire as to whether the owner would be interested <br />In landmark status for the corner building, 502 E. LaSalle, <br />and to research the building and present a report at the next <br />meeting for rating reevaluation. <br />d. Legal <br />No Report <br />e. Public Relations $ Community Education <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that funding has been obtained for the <br />Historic Districts brochure which she is working on with the <br />Chairperson of the PuDlIc Relations $ Community Education <br />Committee, Mr. Michael Beatty. <br />f.
