Environmental Impact Statement <br />1) 516 River Avenue <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that she had issued a Certificate of <br />Appropriateness for 516 River Avenue for the following work: <br />a new storm door, new storm windows, basement windows to be <br />repaired or replaced with wood sashes and wood screens, a new <br />front door, and rear door to be repaired. <br />g. Staff Report <br />1) Preservation Plan <br />Ms. Kiemnec indicated that the staff had sent copies of the <br />Preservation Plan to city offices with a cover letter. A <br />letter of appreciation was received from the Mayor's office. <br />2) Small Town Survey <br />Ms. Kiemnec asked whether the Commission would like to put up <br />$450 from its Technical Assistance Line Item as match for a <br />50/50 grant from Historic Landmarks Foundation for an intern <br />to help finish up the Small Town Survey. Mr. Nimtz made a <br />• motion to that effect with the provision that the Executive <br />Committee discuss the salary of the intern and that the <br />Commission do the hiring; Mr. Oxian seconded; motion passed. <br />3) Survey Update and Reevaluation <br />a) 110 N. William Street <br />Ms. Straw presented a Reevaluation Recommendation for 110 <br />N. William Street recommending that the building, which <br />had not been rated previously, be upgraded to C/10 (see <br />Appendix E). Mr. Oxian made a motion that the building be <br />upgraded to an S/11; Mrs. DeLaruelle seconded; motion <br />passed. <br />b) 1234 Portage <br />Ms. Straw presented a Reevaluation Recommendation for 1234 <br />Portage to upgrade the rating from C/9 to C/10 (see <br />Appendix F). Mrs. Choitz so moved; Mr. Hayes seconded; <br />motion passed; Mr. Oxian abstained. <br />c) 1025 N. Frances <br />• <br />5 <br />
