Executive Committee Report 1) Personnel Contracts Mrs. Sporleder indicated that the Executive Committee had reviewed contracts for Ms. Kiemnec, Ms. Straw, and Mr. Wallar. Mr. Oxian made a motion to change Ms. Kiemnec's title from Preservation Planner to Director; Mr'. Beatty seconded; motion passed. The Commission discussed whether the Director's position can be made a county position. Mr. Hayes made a motion that the Commission direct its attorney, Mr. Butler, to discuss with the Board of County Commissioners whether or not the Director's position can be made a county position and report back to the Commission as to his findings and as to whether or not the current arrangement is in violation of any IRS regulations; Mr. Newburn seconded; motion carried; Mr. Oxian voted nay. • 7. Old Business a. Mayor's Conference Ms. Kiemnec reported that the grant requested for the Mayor's Conference has been awarded. b. School Field Ms. Kiemnec read a request from the School Administration to have the Commission help them to research School Field. Mr. Hayes made a motion to have Ms. Straw, the Commission's Administrative Assistant, allot 20 hours to work with the School Administration on School Field; Mrs. DeLaruelle seconded; motion passed. c. Committee Appointments Ms. Kiemnec distributed a Committee Appointment sheet and a Certificate of Appropriateness Committee Schedule (see Appendix D). 8. New Business a.
