[7 <br />0 <br />Landmarks <br />Mr. Oxian made a motion that the Commission check into the <br />implications of A.W.W.A. Water Landmark status for the North <br />Pumping Station; Mrs. Choitz seconded; motion passed. <br />6. Committee Reports <br />a. Budget & Finance <br />No Report <br />b. Historic Districts <br />1) Lincolnway East <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that the Lincolnway East Historic <br />District Designation is still on hold. The neighborhood is <br />in the process of gathering all the owners' names and <br />addresses. When finished, they will prepare their ballots <br />and take a vote. <br />2) 601 Lincolnway East <br />Mrs. Sporleder reported that she and Ms. Kiemnec had met with <br />Code Enforcement Director, Kathy Barnard, to discuss 601 <br />Lincolnway East. Ms. Barnard wished to begin consideration of <br />legal action against the owners for HPC and Code Enforcement <br />violations. Mrs. Sporleder wanted to make one last effort to <br />work with the owners and to that end, a meeting will be held <br />on February 15, at 1:00 p.m. in the Code Enforcement Office. <br />Mrs. Sporleder had the HPU attorney, Mr. Butler draw up a <br />Resolution for the Commission to instruct the Director, Ms. <br />Kiemnec, to petition the Building Commissioner to use the <br />legal means availble to him to cause the maintenance and/or <br />repair of the building (see Appendix A). Mr. Oxian made a <br />motion to adopt said resolution with the condition that the <br />Commission make one final attempt to work with the owners and <br />to get the conditions in writing; Mrs. Petrass seconded; <br />motion passed. <br />c. Historic Landmarks <br />1) First Reading for Landmark Designation of 1840 Kessler Blvd. <br />Mr. Oxian presented <br />landmark status to <br />Kiemnec had gotten <br />2) 803 Cottage Grove <br />1840 Kessler Blvd. for first reading for <br />the Commission. He indicated that Ms. <br />the owner's consent. <br />
