Staff Report <br />1) Preservation Plan <br />The Commission discussed the changes suggested for the <br />Preservation Plan. Mr. Newburn made a motion to accept the <br />Plan as drafted; Mr. Nimtz seconded. Mr. Newburn then amended <br />the motion to include the changes suggested at the meeting <br />(see Appendix B); Mr. Nimtz seconded; the amendment passed; <br />the motion passed. <br />2) Certified Local Governments <br />Ms. Kiemnec distributed a sheet explaining the CLG program <br />(see Appendix C), Mrs. Sporleder referred the matter to the <br />Legal Committee for study. <br />3) Ypsilanti Conference Report <br />Ms. Kiemnec distributed a report on the conference she <br />attended in Ypsilanti (see Appendix D). <br />4) Multiple Resource Area Nomination <br />Ms. Straw distributed a report on the buildings which passed <br />the Review Board In Indianapolis at the October 10 meeting <br />(see Appendix E). <br />7. Old Business <br />a. Apple Computer Grant <br />Ms. Klemnec reported that the Commission had dropped out of the <br />application for a computer from Apple for networking because only <br />one governmental agency was allowed in each network (Discovery <br />Hall is also a governmental agency). She further reported that <br />all three other organizations agreed that the Commission was <br />stili an integral and necessary part of the network and all three <br />would assist the Commission In its efforts to find funding for a <br />computer. <br />4 <br />
