Call to Order <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m. <br />2. Roll Call <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. John Oxian, Mrs. Martha Choitz, Mrs. Janeanne <br />Petrass, Mr. F. Jay Nimtz, Mrs. Joann Sporleder, <br />and Ms. Karen Kiemnec. <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Mr. Odell Newburn, Mr. Charlie Hayes, Mr. Michael <br />Beatty, and Mrs. Gina DeLaruelle. <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mrs. Jeanne Derbeck, South Bend Tribune Reporter. <br />3. Approval of Minutes <br />• Mr. Nimtz made a motion to approve the minutes of July 16, 1984 as sent; <br />Mrs. Choitz seconded; motion carried. <br />4. Treasurer's Report <br />Mr. Nimtz made a motion to approve the Treasurer's Report as <br />presented; Mrs. Choitz seconded; motion passed. <br />5. Correspondence <br />a. A copy of a letter to the Acting Chief of Registration of the <br />National Register from the State Historic Preservation Office <br />indicating that Union Station has been declared eligible for the <br />National Register but since a letter of objection was received <br />from the owner it will not be listed. <br />b. Preservation News for July and August, 1984. <br />c. A brochure on the Indiana Conference on Historic Preservation in <br />Jasper, Indiana on September 14 and 15. <br />d. Southhold Newsletter for August, 1984. <br />e. A brochure on Fall, 1984 courses at Indiana University of South <br />Bend. <br />
