Page 3 <br />August 15, 1983 <br />1) Contract of Elizabeth A. Straw <br />Mr. Newburn moved that the Commission approve Ms. Straw's contract; Mrs. <br />DeLaruelle seconded; motion passed. <br />2) New Buildings <br />Ms. Kiemnec proposed to add seven buildings to the Multiple Resource Area <br />(see Appendix B): Mr. Oxian moved to accept the additions; Mr. Newburn <br />seconded; motion passed. <br />b. Certificates of Appropriateness <br />Mrs.'DeLaruelle suggested that the Liaison Committee of Edgewater Place Historic <br />District be notified of Certificates of Appropriateness. Ms. Kiemnec proposed <br />to do a form that would be mailed twice monthly to" the Chairperson of the Com- <br />mittee with the current Certificates of Appropriateness. <br />c. Barns. <br />Mrs. Sporleder suggested that at some point in the future the HPC do a study <br />of barns and possible ways of saving them. <br />9. Hearing of Visitors - no report <br />10. Announcements & Miscellaneous Matters <br />a. Visit from Mr. Frank Gilbert <br />Ms. Kiemnec reminded everyone of Mr. <br />of the day's activities. <br />11. Adjournment <br />Gilbert's visit and passed out a schedule <br />Mrs. Sporleder made a motion to adjourn; Mr. Newburn seconded. The meeting was <br />adjourned at 9:15 p.m. <br />
