Call to Order <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />2. Roll Call <br />ROOM 1123 COUNTY CITY BUILDING <br />south bend, indiana 46601 (219 284-9798) <br />Third Floor Conference Room <br />County/City Building <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Charles Hayes, Mr. Ted Wasielewski, Mr. John Oxian, Mrs. Gina <br />DeLaruelle, Mrs. Joann Sporleder, Mrs. Joyce Sherk, Mr. F. Jay Nimtz. <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Mr. Odell Newburn. <br />ALSO PRESENT: Karen Kiemnec, Preservation Planner; Jeanne Derbeck, South Bend <br />Tribune; Kevin Smith, Edgewater Place Homeowner. <br />3. Approval of Minutes <br />Mr. Oxian made a motion to approve the April 26, 1982 minutes with the correction to <br />page'4, Staff Report on Summary Report, "Mr. Oxian made a motion that the Summary <br />Report be taken to Schillings for a second printing of 200 copies; Mr. Nimtz seconded; <br />motion carried." Mrs. DeLaruelle seconded; motion passed. <br />4.' Treasurer's Report <br />Ms. Kiemnec distributed the Treasurer's Report. Mr. Oxian made a motion':to accept the <br />Report as written; Mrs. DeLaruelle seconded; motion carried. <br />5. Correspondence <br />Ms. Kiemnec read the following correspondence: <br />a. Historic Preservation for May/June,_ 1982. <br />b. A Multi -Media Presentation of "WPA': Indiana's Rocky Road to Recovery" on June 3, <br />1982 at IUSB. <br />c. The results of the,survey sent in to the American Farmland Trust. <br />d. A catalogue on books for Victorian Lovers. <br />e. Requests for funds for the Americana Fund for Furnishings and Architectural <br />Improvements to the Diplomatic Reception Rooms <br />f. The brochure, "Raise the Roof for Preservation," from the National Trust <br />g. Preservation Post from the Tiffin Historic Trust, Inc., Tiffin; Ohio. <br />h. Brochures on books and programs from the Practising Law Institute. <br />i. The Old House Journal, May, 1982. <br />j. The National Trust's Annual Report. <br />k. Historygram from the Metropolitan Historical Commission of Nashville, Tennessee. <br />1. Proposal -Writing Workshop in Fort Wayne, IN, on June 18, 1982. <br />m. Annual Conference of the National Association for Olmstead Parks, in Chicago on <br />June 3-6, 1982. <br />n. Preservation News, May 1982. <br />
