South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - May 3, 1996 <br />b. Commission approval requested for Substitute <br />Resolution No. 1423. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded <br />by Mr. Hunt and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Substitute Resolution <br />No. 1423. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />Mrs. Kolata asked permission to add item 6.n. <br />to the agenda. <br />a. Public Hearing on Resolution No. 1426, a <br />Supplemental Appropriation Resolution. <br />Mrs. Kolata asked that the following items <br />be entered into the record: 1) An affidavit <br />of Carol Smith, Advertising Manager of the <br />South Bend Tribune, that the Notice of <br />Hearing was published in that daily <br />newspaper on April 19, 1996; 2) An <br />affidavit of Lisa J. Andrysiak, Classified <br />Manager of the Tri- County News, that the <br />Notice of Hearing was published in that <br />weekly newspaper on April 19, 1996; <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that Resolutuion <br />No. 1426 appropriates $25,000 in the South <br />Bend Central Development Area to be used <br />for local public improvements. $25,000 was <br />appropriated in 1995 for improvements to <br />the alley near Macri's Deli on Niles <br />Avenue. The invoice arrived in 1996 and <br />could not be paid from a 1995 <br />appropriation. Resolution No. 1426 <br />reappropriates the money to pay the bill for <br />those improvements. <br />-5- <br />COMMISSION APPROVED SUBSTITUTE <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1423 <br />
