South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - May 3, 1996 <br />3. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />continued... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hojnacki, seconded by <br />Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Claims submitted <br />May 3, 1996. <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were no communications. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />a. Public Hearing on Substitute Resolution <br />No. 1423 amending the Sample -Ewing <br />Development Area Development Plan. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that the Public Hearing <br />on Resolution No. 1423 was continued from <br />the April 19 meeting. Although the proofs <br />of publication of the legal notice were in <br />our office, we were unable to locate them <br />for the Public Hearing at that time. <br />Mrs. Kolata asked that the following items <br />be entered into the record: 1) An original <br />of the "Notice of Hearing on Amendment to <br />the Sample Ewing Development Plan"; <br />2) An affidavit of Carol Smith, Advertising <br />Manager of the South Bend Tribune, that <br />the Notice of Hearing was published in that <br />daily newspaper on April 5, 1996; 3) An <br />affidavit of Lisa J. Andrysiak, Classified <br />Manager of the Tri-County News, that the <br />Notice of Hearing was published in that <br />weekly newspaper on April 5, 1996; 4) A <br />memo from Ann Kolata stating that on <br />April 1, 1996 she sent a copy of the Notice <br />of Hearing to the affected property owners <br />-3- <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE CLAIMS <br />SUBMITTED MAY 3, 1996 <br />THERE WERE NO COMMUNICATIONS <br />
