Page 4 <br />August 16, 1982 <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that the August 2nd South Bend Tribune.featured an <br />article on the Wyatt Christian Church which is no longer being used as a <br />church. The present owner plans to tear it down. Mrs. Sporleder moved that <br />the HPC write to the owner apprising him of the historical and architectural <br />significance of the church and the possibilities for adaptive use. Mrs. De- <br />Laruelle seconded; motion passed. <br />c. Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana Survey <br />Ms. Kiemnec told the Commission of survey from the "_Historic Landmarks Foun- <br />dation of Indiana which seeks input on a proposed Historic District Training <br />Seminar. Mr. Oxian made.a motion that the planner review the report with <br />Mr. Wasielewski before returning it, with the stipulation that if there are <br />any problems or questions, the matter will be reviewed by the Executive Com- <br />mittee. Ms. Choitz seconded; motion passed. <br />9. Hearing of Visitors <br />No report. <br />10. Announcements and Miscellaneous Masters <br />Mrs. DeLaruelle informed the Commission that a Home Tour will be held in Edge- <br />water Place Historic District on September 26 and the Commission may set up a <br />table with our Surveys and Summary Reports to sell. Mr. Oxian made a motion that <br />Ms. Kiemnec set up a table for the HPC at Edgewater Place's Tour of Homes to sell <br />our publications; Mr. Nimtz seconded; motion passed. <br />11. Adjournment <br />Mr. Nimtz made a motion to adjourn; the meeting was adjourned at 9:10 p.m. <br />
