_April 26, 1982 <br />Page 4 <br />4) Pierce Road Improvements <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported on a request from McDonough Associates for a statement <br />on historic buildings which would be affected by the Pierce Road Improvements. <br />She A ndicated that the two structures most affected would be the Madison Union <br />Chapel and the house at 10128. She read the reply (Appendix E) she had <br />written. Mrs. Sporleder made a motion to accept the report; Mr. Nimtz <br />seconded; motion carried. <br />g. Staff Report <br />1 ) Report on Summary Report <br />Ms. Kiemnec reported that 82 books had been sold, 50 had been distributed to <br />other government agencies, local organizations, etc. and approximately 64 <br />remain. She gave printing costs of $1179 for 100 and $1557 for 200 for a <br />second printing at Schillings which was the best estimate of the five companies <br />consulted. She had spoken to Mr. Jasinski, the President of the County <br />Commissioners, and Mr. John - Lentz, the Chief Deputy Auditor, and they. <br />will allow the Commission to use the money put in the County General Fund <br />from the sale of the Summary Report. Mr. Oxian made a motion that the <br />Summary Report be taken to Schillings for a second printing�&fr200 copies; <br />,Mr. Nimtz seconded;, =motion carried. <br />2) Report on Progress of Small Town Survey <br />Ms. Kiemnec- reported that field work on St. Mary's Campus has begun and the <br />St. Mary's Intern is progressing well with her research. <br />3) Report on Preservation Tax Incentives Conference - held off till next meeting. <br />h. President's Report - no report <br />8. Old Business <br />a. Historic Preservation Commission Photographs <br />Ms. Kiemnec requested the use of Commission photographs -for the Architectural <br />Guidebook she is working on with Mr. Stamper, Ms. Choitz, and Mr. Mullins. <br />Mr. Hayes made a motion to allow Ms. Kiemnec to use the photographs provided <br />the Historic Preservation Commission is credited under each photo used; Mr. <br />Nimtz seconded; motion carried. <br />9. New Business - none <br />10. Announcements & Miscellaneous Matters - none <br />11. Adjournment <br />Mr. Hayes made a motion to adjourn; Mr. Nimtz seconded; the meeting was adjourned at <br />9:50 p.m. <br />
