Committee Report <br />City Survey <br />Mr. Stamper presented a copy of the timetable submitted to <br />Nancy Long of the State Historic Preservation Office. He read <br />into the minutes the balance sheet and reviewed its contents, and <br />presented copies of donated time reports. <br />7. Budget and Finance <br />Mrs. Price stated technical assistance funds are being used for a <br />typist two afternoons a week. <br />8. Historic Districts and Standards <br />A. Approval of Historic District Model Preservation Guidelines, <br />Mrs. Price felt there should be several amendments to the guide- <br />lines, --On pages 14, 23 and 26. At each level of treatment, change of <br />status in the district should be at the consent of property owners. <br />Page 29, voting procedure should be clarified in the voting process. <br />• Mrs. Price moved the approval of Historic District Model be <br />deferred until the next meeting, seconded by Mr. Oxion, the <br />motion carried. <br />B. Vote on Edgewater Place Historic District Ordinance <br />Mr. Oxiapn presented the Edgewater Place Historic District <br />Committee headed by Mr. De Laurelle. Mrs. De Laurelle stated <br />eighty per cent of ballots returned were affirmative. <br />Mr. Oxiaro moved the Edgewater Place Historic District Ordinance <br />be approved and sent to the Common Council, the ballots were also <br />accepted. Mr. Price seconded the motion. The motion carried. <br />Mr. Wasielewski stated the West La Salle district would like to <br />continue with their application of historic status, at the next <br />meeting. <br />9. Historic Landmarks and Standards <br />Legal <br />Mr. Oxi(aT.rpresented 1028 East Wayne St. for historic designation. <br />Mr. OxiJiM moved that the house be declared a historic landmark. The <br />motion was seconded by Mrs. Price. The house will have B standards. <br />The motion carried. The house was a residence, currently used as offices. <br />Mr. Oxiaren moved that the house at 5450 South Miami be approved as <br />landmark. Mrs. Price felt that it should be referred back to committee <br />for review, and so moved, seconded by Mr. Nimtz. The motion carried. <br />No report <br />
