Appendix A <br />November 23, 1981 <br />Proposal to the Historic Preservation Commission of South Bend <br />and St. Joseph County <br />I am interested in working with the Historic Preservation Commission, <br />using historic preservation inventory data in a learning laboratory <br />focusing on the local community as a resource. <br />Now would we use the data: Students will write programs to facilitate <br />1) storage and retreival of data few inventories., - <br />2) analysis of data, tables, graphs accessibility of information <br />3) report writing <br />4) updating files <br />a) updating survey information <br />b) cross referencing with other government departs ents <br />assessors, bldg. dept. <br />c) changes, demolition, addition of new construction <br />involving certificates of appropriateness in <br />81 districts <br />2 landmarks <br />6) storage, retreival and analysis of data for ongiing,work <br />as in <br />28districtconsideration <br />assessing status of landmarks <br />6) in house record keeping might include <br />)letter writing <br />minutes <br />library inventory. <br />accounting <br />Trial projects: <br />B1 one quad analysis of data That questions would you ask? <br />2 landmarks <br />3) historic districts proposal <br />Thank you for your consideration;. <br />Ueloris J.
