November 17, 1980 <br />Page 5 <br />An easement can be given, however, to the County or the City. <br />If this were done we would have to be sure that we could have <br />control. <br />Mr. Oxian went on to point out two unanswered questions: first, <br />how will the preservation standards be enforced if an owner <br />doesn't maintain the facade; second, what happens if the or- <br />ganization holding the easement is dissolved? Also the Com- <br />mission has not yet approached the County Auditor's Office <br />about the matter. <br />Mr. Wasielewski reiterated that the Commission is still in the <br />investigation stage of facade easements, but that we will procede <br />with 720 W.
