October 19, 1981 <br />Page 6 <br />cated that the State Historic Preservation Office requested that <br />we include Notre Dame and St. Marys in the Small Town Survey. <br />She is checking into the possibility of getting a class or an <br />intern to help with Notre Dame but knows of no one at St: Mary's <br />that might help. Ms. Kiemnec further stated that the State <br />Office would probably give the Commission a two-month extension <br />on the Small Town Survey since these two new areas will be included. <br />(2) The National Trust Annual Meeting <br />Ms. Kiemnec distributed her report from the meeting. <br />(3) Mrs. Price asked that the following past meetings which had <br />not had a quorum be ratified: <br />(a) March, 1981, meeting <br />66401 Walnut Rd. declared a landmark <br />Approved February minutes and Treasurer's Report <br />Mr. Nimtz moved that these be ratified and confirmed, <br />Mr. Oxian seconded, motion carried. <br />• (b) May, 1981, meeting <br />52407 Grape Road declared a landmark <br />Approved April minutes and Treasurer's Report <br />Mr. Nimtz moved that those actions be ratified, <br />Mr. Oxian seconded, motion carried. <br />(c) June, 1981, meeting <br />May minutes approved as corrected, Treasurer's Report approved. <br />Policy on plaques and 1982 Budget were approved. <br />Mr. Nimtz moved that these actions be. -ratified, Mr. Oxian <br />seconded, motion carried. <br />(4) Mrs. Price suggested the Commission send a letter to Tede Allmon <br />commending her on article about bridges in the Michiana Magazine <br />dated October 18, 1981. <br />(5) By -Laws - Mrs. Price passed around copies of suggestions for re- <br />visions in the by-laws. Mr. Nimtz moved that the By -Laws Revisions <br />be put on the agenda for the District Committee Meeting, November 2 <br />and for the next Commission meeting; Mrs. Sporleder seconded, <br />motion carried. <br />7.
