Mr. Hill is working on the matter and recently sent a.letter to the Neighborhood Association. Historic Landmarks Mr. John Oxian moved that the house at 52407 Grape Road be designated a historic landmark. Mr. Wasielewski seconded the motion and the motion was carried. Legal Mrs. Ruth Price reported that Mr. Allsop will have the ordinance revisions ready next week. Public Relations and Community Education Mrs. Price reported on Historic Preservation Week. The Committee for Historic Preservation Week will make a final evaluation report at a later date. Environmental Impact Statements No Report Staff Report Mr. Stamper announced that the new summer intern Patricia Craig started May 18. 7, Old Business Mr. John Oxian brought up a policy on abandoned buildings and referred it to the Landmarks Committee. 8. New Business Mrs. Price announced that a planning session had been held with Mr. John Oxian, Mrs. Sporleder and Mr. Stamper regarding the work schedule for the remainder of 1981 and 1982. The first priority of the staff is run the office. Second is the completion of the South Bend and Small Town Survey, third is the drafting of procedures for public hearings, ordinance amendments, and certification. Fourth the Commission will proceed with the creation of'the St. Joseph, Lincolnway East, and the West Washington Historic Districts. Mr. Oxian moved the Commission request $5,000 from the City for funding of three Historic Districts. The motion was seconded by Mr. Odell Newburn, and it passed. 9. Announcements and Miscellaneous Matters Personnel Committee Mrs. Price reported there have been two interviews, for the planner's position, and a third one has been scheduled.
