• <br />6. continued <br />Legal <br />April 20, 1981 <br />Page 3 <br />Mrs. Price reported that all of the supporting letters for <br />Commission certification have been received and that the <br />package will be sent to Indianapolis immediately. <br />Mrs. Price reported that Commission attorney, Mr. Allsop, is <br />progressing with the ordinance amendment and that he may be <br />ready to report at the next meeting. <br />Public Relations and Community Education <br />Mrs. Price reported on the preparations for Preservation Week. <br />Tim Turner of the Chicago Office will be here May 12th. The lobby <br />of this building will be used. There will be a booth set up <br />with personnel to answer questions from the public. Refreshments <br />will be served at 9:00 p.m., the museum will be open, and there will <br />be a band. Mr. Turner will stay over and talk to the Rotary Club <br />the next day. <br />Environmental Impact Statements <br />None <br />Staff Report <br />1. Mr. Stamper reported that the Commission has received the <br />$4,000 DNR grant for the small town survey. He stated further <br />that work is already progressing on the survey. <br />2. Mr. Stamper reported that the city has agreed to provide $750 <br />for printing costs for the city survey and Model Preservation <br />Guidelines as reimbursement for money the Commission spent <br />to buy plaques. Mr. Nimtz moved that the issue of whether to <br />buy additional plaques and the distribution of existing plaques <br />be placed on the July, 1981, agenda. Mrs. Sporleder seconded <br />the motion, and it carried, with one 'no' vote from Mr. Oxian. <br />8. Old Business <br />None <br />9. New Business <br />None <br />10.
