Committee Reports <br />Budget and Finance <br />No Report <br />Historic Districts <br />A. West Washington Historic District <br />Mr. Wasielewski reported that Connie Blair is locating the <br />• names and addresses of property owners in the District. She <br />will also get those within 300 feet of the District as required <br />by the Area Plan Commission. <br />B. Mr. Stamper distributed the City Survey Inventory Cataloques <br />and the first draft of the districts'histories. He asked for <br />comments on the histories and for a meeting to discuss district <br />boundries and recommendations. Mrs. Price set the meeting date <br />for March 30, at 7:30, on the 11th floor of the County/City <br />Building. All Commission members are asked to attend. <br />C. Edgewater Place Historic District <br />Mr. Stamper gave a summary of a meeting concerning the prop- <br />erties at 601 - 617 Lincoln Way East in the Edgewater Place <br />Historic District, The owners, (Anthony Panzica and John <br />Friedline) are preparing to demolish the houses and build <br />a commercial/office building. Mrs. Price suggested that the <br />neighborhood try to rezone the area to Residential/Professional <br />use. Mr. Oxian moved that a letter be written to the neighborhood <br />organization, stating that members of the Commission would like <br />to attend their next meeting to discuss rezoning the existing <br />commercial strips. Mr. Wasielewski seconded the motion and it <br />was approved pending the vote of absent members. <br />
