The motion to send the letter was made by Mr. Oxian, seconded by Mr. Newburn and passed. Staff Report Mr. Stamper made a request to the Commission to copyright the Historic District Guidelines, and to put the book up for sale due to its increasing use and demand by other agencies. Mr. Oxian moved to copyright and sell the book at a price decided by Mr. Stamper. Mr. Newburn seconded. The motion was unanimous- ly approved. Progress report on the City Survey - Mr. Stamper stated that due to an error in the printing of the maps, the Inventory Catalogue will not be available until March 16, 1981. 7. Old Business Acceptance of Resolution Number 9 (see attachment) was moved by Mr. Oxian and seconded by Mr. Newburn. The motion was unanimously approved. The Commission suggested writing to Mr. Medow regarding 727 City Hall Ct., stating that the home has no historical significance, but could be sold through Southhold or renovated into apartments. 8. New Business Mrs. Price informed the Commission that new Federal Legislation states that a property must be certified and on the National Register, in order for the donation of a facade casement to qualify as a gift under the IRS regulations. Mrs. Price suggested that the Commission by-laws should be updated. Mrs. Price sould like to meet with Mr. Oxian on the issue. Organization of Commission Committee assignments - see attached. 9.
