Mr. Oxian <br />pointed out the railroad roundhouse in the 1600 block of Olive, <br />which will be added to the survey, but will not be impacted by <br />the proposed construction. <br />Presidents Report <br />The president had nothing to report on at this time. <br />Staff Report <br />John Stamper asked the commission to retain th.e summer 'intern, <br />Jeanette Burkett, until December 30, 1980, on a 10hour per week <br />basis. Ted Wasielewski made the motion, Ruth Price seconded. <br />The commission approved the motion. A letter will be written to <br />the county,commissioners.requesting funds for the intern contract. <br />Registration for the National Trust Convention will be paid for <br />commission member; John Oxian and Ruth Price.,aid commissionr, <br />planner John Stamper. Charles Hayes made the motion with John Appleton <br />second. The commission approved the motion. Ted Wasielewski will <br />accompany Mr. Stamper to make the request to the county commissioners <br />for registration funding. <br />• 7. Old Business <br />n <br />A motion by John Oxian was made to strike Resolution number 4. <br />Ruth Price seconded. The commission approved the motion. <br />Another motion was made by John Oxian to purchase the book: <br />VICTORIAN HOME BUILDING, A TRANSCONTINENTiAL VIEW. <br />F.J. Nimtz seconded, and the commission approved the purchase. <br />8. New Business <br />Mr. Oxian suggested that:a general handout consisting of four points <br />should be used when a resident considers repair or new construction <br />on his or her home. Charles Hayes recommeded further study, after <br />the points were retyped and presented to the commission. <br />9. Announcements and Miscellaneous.'Matters <br />There were none at this time. <br />10. Hearing of Visitors <br />John Conley suggested that we publish one subject bulletins, i.e. <br />regarding our new model guidelines book. <br />11. Adjourment <br />Joann Sporleder moved to adjourn, F. J. Nimtz seconded. The <br />meeting was adjourned at 9:13 p.m. <br />
