All voted in favor. <br />Mr. Oxian was to report on the standards discussed with the owners <br />of the log cabin at 5+335 Rose Road for the next meeting. <br />Mr. Oxian made a motion to declare the house at 405 West Wayne <br />a single site City Landmark. Mr. Kline seconded. All voted in <br />favor. <br />Committee is looking for a replacement for John Stamper. <br />Legal <br />W. Gaylen Allsop submitted a bill for $600.00 for his services <br />to date. He also stated that his research project report should <br />be completed by the and of the month. <br />Public Relations and Community Education <br />A recognition ceremony, where plaques will be distributed to <br />County Landmark owners, will be held at the County Council's <br />November 14, 1978 meeting. A party will be held afterwards on <br />the 11th Floor. <br />A letter was sent to Bill Richardson, County Engineer, concern- <br />ing the possibility of having a daily bus touring the county <br />landmarks. <br />The Project Landmarks group will hold ten (10) in-service <br />teachers' workshops from 3:45 - 5:00 P.M. every Tuesday, begin- <br />ing October 3, 1978 in Central's Little Theater. Registration <br />materials are available at the Commission office. The grant <br />materials are also being presented at the National Humanities <br />Conference at Century Center, October 21, 1978, 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. <br />Mr. Wasielewski made a motion that the Commission support the <br />printing of a small. pamphlet on the Project Landmarks grant. Mr. <br />Oxian seconded. All voted in favor. <br />Preservation Plan <br />Mrs. Price set a committee meeting for September 11, 1978,in the <br />Area Plan Conference Room at 7:30 p.m. <br />Environmental Impact Statement <br />Mr. Wasielewski is to complete Cole's questionnaire on the Colfax - <br />Bridge project addressing only the bridge reconstruction and stat- <br />ing that more information is needed for us to discuss the impact <br />of the 1.5 mile study area. <br />
