March lg, 1979 <br />Page ] <br />Public Relations and Community Development <br />Mr. Ted Waslelawskl reported that he had appointed Mr' Tim Eckarle <br />I# to be the chairman of this committee. <br />Environmental Impact Statement <br />No report. <br />Presidential Report <br />Mr. Ted Was[wlewski reported that John Stamper has accepted the po- <br />sition of Historic Preservation Planner and will begin his duties <br />May Ist. <br />Mr. Wasielewskl then distributed copies of the new committee assign- <br />ments. <br />He also reported on possible staff problems connected with the CETA <br />funded position now held by Mrs. Qertrud Gilbert. <br />���S ff Report <br />� <br />No report. <br />Old Business <br />No old business was discussed. <br />New Business <br />Mrs. Price reported on the coming visit of Arthur Ziegler. <br />She then mentioned a conference on Revitalization in Evansville on <br />May 16 through May 18, and requested that the new Planner be sent <br />to attend it. The registration is $10.00 and he would need expenses <br />for transportation. No action was taken on this request. <br />Mrs. Price then said she was concerned about the covenants that will <br />be placed on Tippecanoe Place' Ms. 3porleder said she was //nervous/` <br />about selling Tippecanoe Place. There was discussion on this matter' <br />Announcements and Miscellaneous Matters <br />Ms. Sporlader asked about the status of the Odd Follows Building. <br />Mr. Wasielowsk7 mentioned that he had written a memo to Roger Parent <br />requesting the status of the ordinance declaring it a historic land- <br />mark but had not received a reply. He said he would call Mr. Parent <br />on this matter, <br />LI <br />
