March lq, 1979 <br />Page 2 <br />A memo to Roger Parent regarding the present status of the ordinance <br />declaring the Odd Fellows Building a landmark was read. <br />379 6Committee Reports, <br />' ���������u <br />CitySurva <br />Mrs. Price reported that Community Development requested a monthly <br />status report on the City Survey. These are routine reports which <br />must be forwarded to their department. <br />She mentioned the City Survey meeting held with Mr. Richard Gantz <br />and Mr. Car( Armstrong of SHPO held on February lq, 1979. <br />Budget and Finance <br />Mr. John Oxian read revised figures for a tentative County Budget. <br />Thera will be a meeting of the Budget Committee to further gm over <br />these figures' <br />Historic Districts and Standards <br />Mr, 0xian reported that he had had no further contact with the Edge- <br />water people regarding a possible district. <br />Mrs. Price reported that she had submitted a grant application to <br />the Indiana Arts Commission for the brochure on the West Washington <br />Historic District. <br />Historic Landmarks and Standards <br />Mr, 0xian spoke about three structures in the County that are now <br />residences but had been former schoolhouses. These are: 12768 <br />Dragoon Trail, 84015 Dogwood Trail and 69039 Beech Road, Mr. Dxian <br />made a motion that these three structures be declared landmarks, <br />not by ordinance, but by resolution. Mr. Tim Eckerle seconded this <br />motion and it passed unanimously. <br />Mr. Oxyan then made a motion to declare 59101 Apple Road a historic <br />landmark by ordinance. Mr, Al Styvers seconded this mot/on and it <br />passed unanimously. <br />Mr. Oxian than reported that Marty Kleva, who owns a landmarked <br />structure on the corner of Brick and Grape Roads had contacted him <br />with the news that his barn had collapsed and wanted to know if there <br />were any funds available for its repair. Mrs' Price and Ms. Sporledar <br />said they would pursue this further. <br />No report. <br />0 <br />
