March lq, 1979 Page 2 A memo to Roger Parent regarding the present status of the ordinance declaring the Odd Fellows Building a landmark was read. 379 6Committee Reports, ' ��u CitySurva Mrs. Price reported that Community Development requested a monthly status report on the City Survey. These are routine reports which must be forwarded to their department. She mentioned the City Survey meeting held with Mr. Richard Gantz and Mr. Car( Armstrong of SHPO held on February lq, 1979. Budget and Finance Mr. John Oxian read revised figures for a tentative County Budget. Thera will be a meeting of the Budget Committee to further gm over these figures' Historic Districts and Standards Mr, 0xian reported that he had had no further contact with the Edge- water people regarding a possible district. Mrs. Price reported that she had submitted a grant application to the Indiana Arts Commission for the brochure on the West Washington Historic District. Historic Landmarks and Standards Mr, 0xian spoke about three structures in the County that are now residences but had been former schoolhouses. These are: 12768 Dragoon Trail, 84015 Dogwood Trail and 69039 Beech Road, Mr. Dxian made a motion that these three structures be declared landmarks, not by ordinance, but by resolution. Mr. Tim Eckerle seconded this motion and it passed unanimously. Mr. Oxyan then made a motion to declare 59101 Apple Road a historic landmark by ordinance. Mr, Al Styvers seconded this mot/on and it passed unanimously. Mr. Oxian than reported that Marty Kleva, who owns a landmarked structure on the corner of Brick and Grape Roads had contacted him with the news that his barn had collapsed and wanted to know if there were any funds available for its repair. Mrs' Price and Ms. Sporledar said they would pursue this further. No report. 0
