Old Business
The problem of the legnth of the minutes, and the large amount of
time spent to make the transcript and reduce it down, and the in-
efficiency of the retrieval system was discussed, but no action
taken.
Mr. Wasielewski said that Ruth Price would like expenses for the
Governor's Conference on Downtown Revitalization. Ms. Sporleder
. said she would also like to go.
Paul Kline would like to appoint Feda Noble to the Commission to
replace Velma. However, we would have to change our meeting night
to accommodate Mrs. Noble's schedule.
Mr. Wasielewski and Ms. Sporleder are to go over the work Jeanne
Denham has done for the bibliography of published material about the
South Bend area.
Mr. Wasielewski said that the Advisory Council inquired whether the
Jefferson Hotel could be used for the Federal Building. There was
some discussion as to what that was all about, and no decision was
reached.
Mr. Oxian mentioned the National Trust 1979 Preservation Workshops.
One in Lancaster, Penn. from April 28th to May 5th looked good.
